We seek a dynamic and highly motivated Training and Event Specialist to join our People Development Team. This pivotal role, reporting to the Senior Director of People Development, is essential to nurturing our company culture and supporting training initiatives. What you will do:
Position Requirements (includes, but is not limited to):
Participates in regular learning and development needs assessments across the MSP platform, aligned to growth initiatives and team goals by function/role
Supports learning and development initiatives and events from planning through execution and measurement
Supports project plans to keep programs on track, proactively anticipating and mitigating challenges when they arise
Manages and tracks learning and development projects to accurately reflect the status and meet or exceed project milestones and deadlines
Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure programs are accurate and relevant, as well as to plan any needed delivery support
Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
Supports the Manager, Training in the continued development and innovation of the current Learning Management System
Construct and deliver internal communications to MSP internal team members
Partner with the HR team to create recruitment and onboarding materials
Evolve in-clinic Standard Operating Procedures
Support the MSP planning committees in the planning and administration of our events to include but not limited to:
Support the organization of facilities and event details
Communications
Guest list
Manage on-site logistics with the event team
Troubleshoot emerging issues
Ensure smooth event implementation
Post-event communication and feedback collection
Job requirements
Do you have what it takes?
A degree in business, organizational change, business and hospitality preferred
4+ years’ experience in training, operations, people development, organizational development
Proficient in adult learning style techniques
Experience in LMS management and instructional design
A team player who loves to collaborate with internal partners
Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Be exceptionally organized with a strong attention to detail
Customer service background or understanding of the importance of employee experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with vendors, clients, and team members
Proficiency in planning event details such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and attendee communication
Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software
Ability to troubleshoot issues during events or training sessions while staying calm under pressure
Develop innovative event concepts and training programs that align with organizational goals
