Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dermatologic assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and differential diagnosis
Manage common and complex dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, infections, and benign lesions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including biopsies, cultures, and lab work.
Preform dermatologic procedures such as: Punch, shave and excisional biopsies, Cryotherapy, Intralesional injection, Simple excisions and wound care
Delivering safe, clinically superior treatments and next-level patient care
Administering dermatology treatments as assigned
Development of comprehensive treatment plans through detailed patient consultations and collaboration with other treatment providers
Educate clients on treatment specifics, products, aftercare instruction and maintenance
Detailed and accurate patient charting
Timely and thorough post-procedure follow up
Develop and contribute to efforts to increase brand awareness within and outside the clinic
Knowledge of lasers and light therapies, as well as an interest in skincare, are assets
Work alongside other providers to delegate and approve treatment plans
Willingness to immerse yourself into the clinic to grow patient base
Job requirements
Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner holding an active licence in Ontario and current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Derm Certification an asset but not requirement
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in medical aesthetics and dermatology
At least two years experience Cosmetic Injecting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient-centered care
Willingness to learn, expand your skills, and stay current with advancements in medical aesthetics.
Previous training in neuromodulation and filler injections is considered a strong asset.
